By leading language groups, you'll actively be championing social inclusion and diversity. Your participants may include migrants, refugees, and other communities who are looking to get integrated in their new cities and countries by learning the local language and culture in a fun and informal way. If you are a migrant yourself, sharing your language and culture with locals in your city can help you connect with others. Local or migrant, your efforts will help create diverse and inclusive cities across the globe.

You'll get training through a combination of videos, documents and tools to help you manage your SPEAK chapter. You will also have a dedicated point of contact who will meet with you to make sure you have everything you need to be successful.

Submit the application form.

Pass us your details and let us know which city you'd like to start a SPEAK chapter in. Don't forget to read the commitment check to understand what being a SPEAK founder is all about. Optionally, watch our MOOC regarding the Fundamentals of Social Franchising.

Complete the selection & onboarding process.

We will get to know you and share our replication model over two interviews. You will also organize a language exchange event! This helps future SPEAK founders get a feeling for the time and energy involved with building a strong local community.

Start your SPEAK chapter!

Welcome onboard! We will support you through your first steps and challenges as a potential founder. After a short trial period, once all the steps and challenges are met, we will close the agreement for your SPEAK chapter. Your social impact starts here.
