Sign up as a buddy.

Create a free SPEAK account (if you don't already have one), and sign up as a buddy.

Complete the online training.

Go through the self-service training at your own pace. Training takes around 30 minutes and includes 6 main chapters. Once you complete the training, you can start leading language groups!

Lead a language group.

You are now ready to lead your own language group! Choose the language you'd like to share, the type of session (offline or in-person), and your preferred date and time. Have fun leading your language group!

I became a buddy with SPEAK in November, and have been sharing my native language, English, and helping fellow immigrants with basic Portuguese.
